This list of questions will be updated regularly, please read this page before sending us any questions about the game.
Q: I’ve never tried airsoft and would like to start playing, is this game a good place to start?
A: No. Even if our milsim events are not the most demanding of their kind, they are very demanding compared to regular one day events. You will most likely find regular Sunday games more fun at first.
Q: I’m a seasoned airsoft player and I’ve been wanting to try out proper milsim but I haven’t been invited to any games, is this game right for me?
A: This game is perfect for you! The target audience for this games is anyone who is interested in milsim, both more experienced players and people wanting to get into the whole milsim scene.
Q: what is the comfort level of the game?
A: Very low, unless you play as NATO. You are expected to bring everything you need for 48h in the terrain, you will not be allowed to go to your vehicle to drive for pizza and there will be very little material provided by us for sustenance or logistics expect for the NATO players.
Q: When is the last day to sign up and pay the fee?
A: As for now, we don’t have a last date set in stone. So if you want to sign up, please go ahead, we will tell you if it is too late.
Q: How much does the game cost and what does the fee include?
A: The game costs 350 SEK for all factions except NATO who pay 650 SEK. And as for the expensiveness of the game: It is a long event, all of 48 hours. There is a lot of logistics that need to organized. Largest single cost is that for the area, 100 SEK per person, disregarding the amount of people. The NATO-members will have tent space, and food baked into their prize, as we want it to be a full experience of “camp-life”. A menu will come shortly. It is easy to cut corners when organizing an event, but there are always unforeseen events that will bump up the costs. We are planning to have an overhead of between 0-1000 euro, if the money is not used we will use it for later projects, for example getting more radios, instead of having to waste money on renting.
Q: What rules apply?
A: The rules for the event can be found here:
God, Guns & Gasoline » Rules
Q: I’m not part of a team, can I book myself as a lone player?
A: It’s possible but not recommended, chances are that we will not allow you to come alone. It’s best if you find a team to come with or go with a group of friends.
Q: Do I sleep in game and in camp?
A: Yes, the whole game area is in play from start to finish, all hours of the day. Special deals can be made with drivers that need to drive a long way home to sleep in their car on the last night, but other than that you are not allowed to go to your transport while in play. You need to bring everything you need to the game area before the game starts.
Q: We don’t use the same uniforms in my team, can we attend regardless?
A: Yes, off course. Both “the Scania-guard”, and “the Lords Army” need willing fighters, just stick to the prerequisites regarding these two factions and everything will be peachy.
Q: What is the minimum amount of players?
A: For the specific scenario we have a minimum of 120 attendants, but we can work with less than that.
